Policy on External Postings

 

TTNews is a product of our community and we’re committed to keeping everyone updated but empowering people to have a voice! Unfortunately, we are not classed as a ‘Content Finding Social Media App’ but instead as a ‘local news app.’ 

 

The effect of this has been that we can only post content that is sanctioned by a Limited Liability Corporation and not personal content. If we do post personal content it would be adopted as the views of TTNews App and may lead to a removal of advertisements (provided by Google AdMob) within the application, particularly in cases of socially/politically sensitive content. 

 

Furthermore, we do present a news option that our users believe in. Unfortunately, we cannot place highly politicized content or content on sensitive issues or content on non-current affairs matters. Our users are depending on current affairs content only, and we do risk violating the user agreement and being revoked from the App Store if we do post otherwise. 

 

At this time this situation is neither ideal for us or our stakeholders. This being said, our community is important to us, and we encourage you to send us your content on Instagram for consideration of posting.
